Marionettes
I dig the style of a lot of this. It was done in traditional pen and ink with a little digital voodoo thrown in for the shading and 'aged' look in the panels. Everthing was drawn on the spot with no pencilling or sketching, so you'll find some troubles here and there with it. My main trouble is that I tried to fit too much in too few pages. For some reason I was stuck on it being thirteen pages long.
This is based off of a dream that a friend had years ago, and I eventually found a note of theirs detailing this dream. I expanded on it a little but was still going for a dreamlike state behind the feel, which I think came through alright. This finished up back in fall of 2008. I like the setting enough that I might expand on it and return to it at some point, in a less dreamlike/rushed/vague fashion.
